Sapphire Realty, one of the
oldest real estate offices in the Bitterroot Valley, was founded in 1966 by two
World War II vets: Jack Evans, who flew Corsairs for the U.S. Marines over
the Pacific; and Gerry Bergh, who was with the U.S. Army in Australia.
Bill Bradt, the current Broker/Owner, purchased the firm in 1989.
Sapphire Realty & Consulting now specializes in the highest quality
conservation properties available in Western Montana wherein a sense of
stewardship is often passed from seller to buyer. Bill’s past
conservation experience is extensive, including the sale of the Shining
Mountain Ranch for The Nature Conservancy, helping the Rocky Mountain
Elk Foundation create their first conservation easement on the Burnt
Fork Ranch, where he is still responsible for all forestry, range
management and road engineering. He helped establish the Montana
Land Reliance, is a life member of the Montana Wilderness Association,
and is active in several other conservation organizations.
Bill graduated from the University of Montana with a Master of Forestry
Degree in 1965. He has been hunting, fly fishing,
backpacking, skiing, ski mountaineering, and kayaking extensively in
Montana and Idaho since 1960. |
